  • declares having read the rules and the ethics of the race, and agrees to comply with them in every respect;
  • declares holding individual accident insurance covering rescue, search and evacuation costs in France;
  • declares having checked the medical contraindications that might concern them and releases the organisation from any medical problem arising during the event due to negligence on their part.

Every entry is personal. Anyone handing over their bib without going through the official transfer (article 13) will be held responsible in the event of an accident suffered or caused by the bearer of the bib. Article 7 · Course and marking

Both races are marked, flat circuits, on roads and stabilised paths around the Lac de Madine. Volunteer marshals are posted at key points and crossings.

Article 8 · Safety and medical assistance

Safety is provided by marshals put in place by the organisation, who watch over the safety of competitors and the smooth running of the event. Medical assistance is provided by a professional medical team. Each participant must report a runner in distress to the medical assistance or to the marshals.

Article 9 · Aid stations

Both races are run in semi-autonomy.

  • 10 KM*: one liquid aid station at km 5.
  • Semi-Marathon**: one liquid aid station at km 6, liquid and solid at km 12 and km 15.

A full aid station awaits all runners at the finish.

Article 10 · Cut-off times

Neither the 10 KM* nor the Semi-Marathon** has a cut-off time: both circuits are marked and each runner covers them at their own pace.

Article 11 · Rankings and awards

The 10 KM* and the Semi-Marathon** are electronically timed. An individual ranking is drawn up for each race. Trophies and prizes are awarded to the top three senior and veteran men, and to the top three senior and veteran women in the scratch ranking, regardless of age category. No cash prize is awarded. The presence of the awarded participants is mandatory: in case of absence, the prizes remain with the organisation.

Article 12 · Cancellation and refund

On presentation of a medical certificate only, the organisation refunds 50% of the registration fee (excluding platform fees) up to one month before the event. No other reason gives rise to a refund, and no refund is possible in the month before the event.

In the event of an exceptional cancellation for which the organisation is not responsible (force majeure, safety requirements, weather conditions, decision of the authorities, etc.), no registration can be refunded and no damages can be claimed.

Article 13 · Bib transfer

A bib transfer is possible until Monday 3 May 2027 at 20:00, only between runners, from the online registration account. The new participant registers with payment; the registration is effective once payment has been made, and the participant who transferred their bib is refunded within 8 days. The organisation cannot carry out a transfer itself. Bibs cannot be carried over to the following edition, except if the event is postponed.

Article 14 · Sanctions

Any participant caught throwing litter outside the designated areas, showing unsporting behaviour, disrespecting volunteers or failing to comply with these rules will be called to order, then disqualified in case of a repeat offence; they will then have to reach the finish by their own means. No claim will be accepted.

Article 15 · Insurance and liability

The organisation has taken out civil liability insurance. It is up to participants to insure themselves personally. The organisation cannot be held responsible in the event of an accident or failure of participants, in particular those resulting from poor health or insufficient preparation. Participation is under the full responsibility of competitors, with waiver of any recourse against the organisation in the event of damage or after-effects subsequent to the race. The organisation declines all responsibility in the event of theft or damage to equipment.

Article 16 · Image rights and personal data

Each participant authorises LIGHT ON to use images in which they may be identified, as part of promotional and advertising broadcasts. In accordance with the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978 and the GDPR, each participant has a right of access and rectification of their personal data, by writing to hello@lightontri.com.
